Is there a way to inform ebay about an item you want, if someone lists the item ebay can notify you

Just wondering if there is a way to inform ebay of an item you would like thats not currently for sale, so if someone lists the item you want in the future ebay will notify you.

When you do a search there should be a link "Follow this search" on the results line. You can click on it and add the search to the Searches You Follow list. You will have the option for each search of having email sent to you when something matches your search detail.
