''Less than $10 per item, including shipping.'' IS THIS TOO CONFUSING ???

Deal alert: Less than $10 per item, including shipping.

As eBay has added this note to many auctions- are other sellers finding that this is confusing to buyers?

We have already had one buyer who took this to mean FREE shipping- as the BUY IT NOW price was less than $10 !!!

I haven't seen that one yet but you are right. I would probably take it to mean free shipping too.

Also I don't like this "Deal alert". The first time I saw it on one of my listings my heart rate went up because my first reaction was that I had done something wrong.
