Limits and relist's

Question is,, If I have a limit on items allowed in a 30 day period and its say 100 and i list 100 items but say 40 don't sell do i need to wait  for the next 30 day period or can I relist the items again?  or does my 100 stay the same and It dont matter if they sell or not its (100) total..

Limits and relist's

The way that I understand it, if you are allowed to list 100 and 40 of them don't sell, you still have to wait for the next 30 day listing period to list new items or relist the ones that didn't sell.

You can apply to have your limit raised. I haven't had to do it myself but I think that if you look on the left side of your my ebay page it will say what your limit is and if you click on that, it will bring you to a link to change that limit. Or you can also phone ebay and ask if they will raise it. If they say no the first time..try again next month.

I believe it is a combination of sold and active..

Revisions also count towards limit.

Limits and relist's

It helps to understand the reason for the policy.

The limits were introduced to control scammers who would list hundreds, even thousands of items, take the money and disappear.

So honest sellers like yourself are limited in how much they can list, in numbers and in value, until they have shown themselves trustworthy.

Although your feedback is important in this, the Detailed Seller Ratings are even more so. DSRs that drop below 4.3 will very quickly get a seller restricted or even removed from the site.
