I saw a report today on CNN about huge line-ups to get though security at some US airports. Given the recent "sequester" in the US and the cut-backs that are slated to start taking effect soon, I'm wondering about getting parcels through US Customs. Earlier CNN reported that US border services/customs were a big item on the chopping block.
I sell mostly to the US, mainly with tracking, so I can keep a watch on the timelines to see if they lengthen. I'd appreciate any other Canadian sellers reporting significant delays they may notice, especially if they're shipping items of a value that may be subject to Customs inspection and processing.
If it looks like delays are becoming common, I'll start warning my buyers about border slow-downs when I ship parcels out.
