Hello Canadian eBayers,
Welcome to the March 6th edition of the Weekly Board Hour. Joining me this week are fellow eBay Canada employees Rodney (Head of Product and Country Co-Manager), Bryan.ca (Country Product Manager) and Kalvin (Community Manager). The four of us are looking forward to chat with you. 🙂
We will start answering your posts at the top of the hour.
Thanks!

This problem comes up a few times in the eBay.com and eBay.ca forums. Issues like this are most likely caused by the browser setting for printer margins. Try changing the browser margins from default 0.75 to 0.5 inches on all sides.
Also make sure header and footer are blank in browser printer setup.

Things changed in the 5 minuites I wrote but still the same deal
170992134544 Used in a different province for Almost $10...100% feedback
321024131679 Mine ..Brand New... $3.99 99.8% feedback
110960590553... NEW ..Same Province ...$3.98 100% feedback
This is in the order they are best matched and personally if I was buying and I was not selling this items I would think the best match would be the guy selling it for $3.98 in the same province Brand new instead of used but ebays seems to think buying a used item for 3 times the cost from a different province is better..
The US seller I was talking about must have sold there's or something but same thoery applies to these listings..
I honestly could sit here and give you examples like this all day all week.. I love ebay and all its flaws but the best match option is really testing my nerves because if it worked properly my sales would be better ...
Maybe it does work probably and ebay basis it on something I am not aware of I just want some answers so I know what to do to be the best match

Rapahel "If any of these cases are recent, please give me the item number, I would love to take a closer look."
They go back over a year.
Since then, whenever I need to charge extra for registration or other extra charge specifically requested by the buyer, I send an extra PayPal invoice, where I pay the extra $0.30 PayPal fee and avoid being ripped off by eBay for FVF (sorry but I cannot think of another word to describe the fee overcharge).
Perhaps we could try to replicate the issue with a test auction. I have a test account I can use for that, if you would like to do this you can drop me a line at raphael@ebay.com, we'll set this up and hopefully see what is wrong.

Thanks for the example!
Yes, we are an active marketplace and results will change all the time. In fact I did a query for 'Cyclops' (not knowing the query you used) and found a different order of results that you have provided above. I would focus on the providing the best selling experience you can and not to worry to much about trying to understand the best match system. I love eBay too!!
Thanks for your questions, and if you have any more example I would love to test them out next week. See you then!!
