More garbage on .ca and .com if you are in Canada and listing on both

Got emails today in my email that I had offer on 4 items (All listed on .com)

Clicked on review and respond and it says I do not have any offers. but bottom right says you have one competing offer or such.

Logged into .ca where my store is and no emails in messages for offers.

Then logged out and logged into .com and the offers show up. I opened one of the messages and clicked on review and respond and I had to sign into .ca to then deal with the offer.

Is this going to be more of the garbage Ebay is playing with for Canadians listing on .com and .ca if they are in Canada?

Any one else have any of these issues showing up yet.

And now the messages and all the offers have been dealt with, the original messages show up on .ca log in now which may be that I logged into .com and then was asked to log into .ca when dealing with an offer.

I only list on .com only and I have ongoing issues with receiving offers and have found that I have to be vigilant or I miss a few.

I have never had this issue before with offers. It just started this morning..

Pierre and I have both asked questions on the weekly chat as these issues are becoming ridiculous.

Don't your offers come through regular email as well as Ebay email. I have a totally separate email set up for Ebay just so I don't miss things, or if Ebays makes more oopsies..

Sometimes I don't get offers on my regular email.  That's been going for a  long time and so I've learned to check my eBay email regularly.

Several times I've been lucky to catch the offers just before they expired.

I can no longer send an invoice from .ca either so it almost appears if you list on .com, all dealings with those listings will also have to be on .com. Offers, invoicing, etc.

I will also carefully check if I still get my FVF discount on .com sales.

Read Raphael's non answers. I emailed the buyer that bought 12 items and he told me he was forced to pay each one separately. This is starting to become criminal theft by Ebay and needs to be reported as the chats are totally useless. And yes, I am very PO'd today.

My buyer had to pay $54.00 shipping due to Ebay's useless system they will not fix. Just so they can make more FVF from shipping that they do not refund and Paypal can make 30¢ per transaction they don't refund.

Maybe time to go to the BBB, Ecommercebytes, the Attorney General, Consumer Affairs, and any one else that may listen and see if that will do any good as this is really getting to be you know what. If Ebay boots me, so be it. They obviously don't care and think they can do as they please.

Did you read my reply on that thread? I really do think that in this case, it may be a Paypal problem so you should contact them and see what they say.   Also, if you phone ebay cs, you should be able to get a refund on the extra fvf's that you were charged. Other sellers have been able to do so.

I haven't been able to send an invoice from .ca for an item listed on .com for quite a while...at least a year. I rarely use best offer so haven't noticed that happen with best offers but it doesn't surprise me.

Next one, and it is not Paypal.

Canadian buys notes listed on .com. I have discounted shipping set up and when he pays it charges him the total of the shipping on each item, instead of only 1 and the other 2 are free.

40 item next order, it picked a number out of the air and charged that for shipping.

It is Ebay screwing sellers and buyer for their fvf on shipping to pad their bottom line.

I don't know what's going on. Hopefully Raphael can figure it out if you give him the info he asked for.

I have to run..I hope that the rest of your week goes better!

While the real problem gets straightened out, are you able to send the buyer an invoice (or 12) that gives the correct shipping?

I had a customer the other day who bought an item on dotCOM and another on dotCA. As we know, those cannot be combined on one invoice.

I went into the dotCOM one (only because it came up first)and removed the shipping entirely.

Instead of $3.00 shipping on each item, he paid $3.00 on the dotCA and got 'free' shipping on the other.

Keep the customer in mind and solve his problem before worrying about yours.

That works fine if they can add to cart and don't pay before you know what is happening. When you are not home, you have no control.

Even when the did combine, Ebay ignored the shipping discounts and charged full price on 3 items. I am starting to wonder if the shipping discounts set up do any good.

It does not matter what you do, Ebay gives you the shaft. 3 out of 4 orders today were a mess due to the cart not working, shipoping discounts not working, and Ebay picking shipping numbers out of thin air. I have it set up that you pay for the first item and the rest ship free. Buyer buys 40 items and Ebay charges shipping on 5. Great system.

All these refunds are going to cost me on Paypal fees and Ebays useless FVF on shipping which they do not refund.

Nothing but gouging by Ebay. I have spent half the day with buyers trying to figure out how to fix so neither of us get the shaft.

I doubt if Ebay has any intention of fixing the issue as that would cost them money from their bottom line
