Hi,
I'm trying to sell an item but it keeps getting purchased by newly registered accounts. After the 4 day window they unregister their account and the only thing I get out of this is wasted time.
I feel like another eBay member is doing this so that I might eventually accept a low-ball offer out of desperation. Is there any way I can make it so my listings can only be purchased by users with good feedback or have buyers pay up front?
Thanks

List with "buy it now" and request immediate payment, that will eliminate your problem. When listing expensive items, that's the best way to go. You will get only serious buyers. Good luck.

Unlikely. There are over 500 000 000listings on ebay every day and over 140 000 000 users.
You are more likely being found by 'thrill bidders'.
Are these the boots? They would tend to attract youngish males, who are into looking tough. Not the most stable demographic. Too much testosterone and not enough patience.
Scatterbrains, in other words.
Fixed price would help. Instant gratification and all that. No waiting around for an auction to end. Bid , buy, pay. Boom. Done.
Go to your Seller Preferences and put in two automatic Blocks.
One would be on bidders with Unpaid Item Strikes. You don't need proven deadbeats.
The other would be on bidders who do not have active Paypal accounts. That blocks newbies who haven't put much thought into how they will pay for the item they want.
BTW, I hope you did open Unpaid Item Disputes on those deadbeats. This is the kind of policing that makes the site safer for sellers and more inviting for real buyers.
Also, when you sold those boots, eBay charged you a fee every time. The UID gets those fees back.

There is no way to specify that buyers need to have a specific amount of feedback in order to purchase an item.
It is important that your buyers know the shipping cost before they make the purchase. Your Canadian shipping seems to be set up fine but there is no cost listed for U.S. shipping. Which service are you using (expedited) and what are the dimensions you entered for calculated shipping?
Shipping costs are showing for some of the overseas countries but I suspect the ones that are not coming up are ones that don't have the service you specify. Tracked Packet int'l is only available to some countries. But as a new seller, you might want to limit your sales to Canada and the U.S.
