New Canadian Privacy Laws and Ebay.CA any changes?

When the new privacy laws are in effect will this change anything on ebay for Canadians? I think that the privacy laws in Europe change the Ebay experience for them. I do not think they can request a sellers contact information like we can in North America.

I would also appreciate knowing how "wells fargo" received my phone #. I'm sure she mentioned "powerseller" in her spiel.

The Wells Fargo thing is a scam for identity theft. I already called Wells Fargo and spoke with them about it.

How do you figure they gained our phone#'s?

Probably an ebay auction as they had the company name that I use on ebay. They are probably one of my NPB's. That or I've been added to a business directory out there. I've even recieved those Nigerian letters addressed to my business. This happened about a month after I sent a few parcels to South Africa. I'm not talking about email letters, but actual letters in the mail.
