In the past few months, I have sent questions to sellers regarding their product. Many of those sellers never respond, even those that state that they will respond in a timely basis. I know that the questions have been sent because I have copies in my email and eBay account. Recently, I have purchased a product through eBay and one seller did respond. I am new to eBay (just 4 purchases since April 2013) and have made sure that my feed back has been positive, especially on payment and letting the seller know how happy I was with their product.
I can think of two possible reasons for why sellers don't respond. One, I don't have a rating based on my 4 transactions and sellers don't have time or can't be bothered to look at my 100% positive feedback. Or two, I live in Canada and sellers located in the US don't have to deal with me in Canada if they have enough buyers in the US. Unlike a local vendor, a faceless eBay question doesn't carry the same weight or importance?
Your thoughts?
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and respond to my question.

Buyers can only get positive feedback, even the difficult ones and non payers so a buyer with 100% positive feedback is meaningless.
Don't concern yourself with sellers who don't respond. Just don't purchase from those who don't respond.
Depending on how a question is worded, a seller may deem your legitimate questions as signs of a potential problem buyer. Sometimes what we say in written form is misunderstood by the reader. I don't know why the sellers haven't been responding to you but it is better to be ignored as only a potential buyer rather than an actual buyer.
Non payers should get unpaid item strikes and be added to block bidders lists. Period.

Many US sellers just ignore all foreign customers. Consider yourself lucky that you learned this before bidding.
