Ordering Shipping Boxes and Shipping supplies?

Anyone here knows where within Canada to order shipping boxes cheap except Staples / Office Depot? I used to order boxes from Staples, but they don't have much choice on sizes....they are either to big or too small..

Check out Chiswick, they have a canadian website. They ship from Midland, ON and they have pretty much any size you may need. Decent prices and volume discounts. You can choose various sizes and still get the discount (no need to buy 250 of the same size)

They are associated to NEBS so you can also get AirMiles!

We were using a company called Whitebird in Hamilton as their prices were reasonable, until we started shipping everything from Niagara Falls, NY. Now I just order all my boxes from USPS (free) and they ship them to my US Post Office (free).

As you're in BC.........check out greatlittlebox dot com - I've been using them for years for bubble mailers, and they carry a huge line of boxes .... at the best prices I've found anywhere in the province. They're in Victoria, Richmond and Kelowna (plus an outlet in Everett down south).

I have a cardboard plant in my town and they allways have scrap of one type or another. They constantly have over runs and misformed boxes. I got a full skid load of small boxes from them a couple of months ago for nothing, they have to bail them anyway. They were glad to get rid of them.

I use Bubblefast canada on E-BAY...quick delivery and competitiver prices..plus a good variety of sizes of boxes and envelopes.

I use the old fashion, offline company.. General Fastners. I buy boxes of 250 bubble envelopes for about $75... Not bad...
I'll be looking into some of the other companies listed above to compare prices!!

I too have used Bubble-fast. They ship me 500 mailers at a time from somewhere in Ontario (I forget)... and the price was less than half even after adding shipping than the closest price I could find in Canada for the same item!

So far for bubble mailers I've found packaging depot (in GVR) to be the cheapest. Not the classiest place but who cares.

For those of us in BC, the shipping cost with Bubblefast kills the cheaper price per mailer. 00 size works out locally at 29.8 cents per from Great Little Box, versus 33.3 cents per including shipping with Bubblefast. >>> Michael

I'm not certain this will be helpful but thought to pass it along:

I worked for civic gov't for 20 yrs prior to eBay. Make friends with your local civic gov't mail office staff (often found on the ground floor somewhere in a corner) who mail city utility bills, tax notices, etc. I've not paid for a box yet. They'll be tickled pink you took some of them off their hands. Often they're #10 envelope boxes which are a perfect size for mailing 3 or 4 items.

Recently I moved and changed to another civic gov't office with absolutely no problems. Most were thrilled I'd called in advance and were intrigued to talk eBay.
