Hi, this is Lilybean from eBay Canada's shipping team.
As we near the end of 2006, I wanted to get some feedback from eBay sellers who have yet to use eBay/PayPal's online shipping solution.
For those of you who know or may not know, after an item has sold, you can print a Canada Post or UPS shipping label conveniently from your own computer. Printing of the label is FREE, you only pay for the cost of postage, and you can pay right from your PayPal account.
I have used the tool quite frequently since it launched in February. The process has been quite beneficial in terms of saving me time and effort, especially being able to enter Customs details directly in the flow and being able to print my label (with the Customs info) all together on one label. As well, since I ship most of my packages Expedited Parcel, I appreciate saving 9% on my shipments to the US.
But enough about me! I want to know 2 things from you:
1. What has prevented or deterred you from trying to print a label with our tool?
2. What would encourage you to try the tool at least once?
We have found that sellers who print a label once through the tool are very likely to continue to use the tool for their future shipments. Thus, I want to do what I can to get you to try it once.
Much like that old Life Cereal commercial that started along the lines of "I'm not gonna try it. You try it" and ended with the pleasant surprise "He likes it! Hey, Mikey!", I am confident if you try it, you will like it.
Please submit your responses on the Selling Board thread - http://forums.ebay.ca/thread.jspa?threadID=600015112&tstart=0&mod=1165346900129. I will be reviewing and gathering information from this thread every day.
I will keep this thread open for comments until 8 p.m. ET, Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at which time I will close it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Lilybean
