Problem with Paypal/Canada Post Shipping

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

For the last 2 days I have been unable to generate shipping for International Airmail Small Packet - I get an error message
The Shipment Option you have chosen is invalid. Please verify the amount you have entered.
Needless to say the dimensions and weight entered are valid - I can print a surface shipping label for the same size, just not Airmail.

Tried calling CP who told me to contact Paypal, apparently Paypal maintains the website(??). Paypal, of course, responds with nonsense form letter.

All other shipping methods are still working.

I am having the same problem. Also tried to find support, and there is no one to call.

I did call PayPal, and they said to contact Canada Post. PayPal also said they could not help me.

ANYONE ELSE?

Try e-mailing garybriggs@ebay.com (hopefully the address is still valid). If he can't help you I'm almost certain he can find someone who can.

I sent an email to cpc@paypal.com the customer service email address listed during Canada Post transactions, and CC'd garybriggs@ebay.com

This could take a while. Did they ever fix the problem with some proper dimensions not being accepted for Small Packet?

They never fixed the glitch where Mac users cannot pay by any means other than Paypal funds.

I went out Saturday morning and bought a bunch of postage stamps - $1, $5, $8 and $1.49 cover most international needs. No insurance coverage this way, but CP insurance is a big joke anyway.

I dont normally come in here but I have decided to warn everyone who tries to use the service paypal shipping. It is the worse decision I have ever made. I have used it for 1 month. The delivery period for my items took double the time to US and three times International. They have lost more than what normally get missing in a period of 6 months. I went back to posting my items to the post office. Items that left on the 22nd have already been received in UK and the ones that were mailed 3 weeks ago are nowhere to be found.

CPC is not ready for any technology.

I don't use CP much, but I have found that if you just put on the shipping label it can take a lot longer to make it to it's destination. It's a good practice to make sure you write the destination address on another area in large block lettering.

This is what I do, I print off the paypal payment pages anyway, so I also cut out the address section and glue it to the box in addition to the official lablel with a big black "TO" beside it. Saves some writing.
