7 days later, nothing. I send an "Unpaid Item Reminder" to which she responds, 3 times in 5 minutes, VERY rudely, accusing me of ignoring her, trying to ruin her record, etc.
I go into my sent items folder, and "forward" the 2 emails to her that I sent a week ago. No response as of yet.
Is it common that emails go awry? She does not have a hotmail or AOL address, could my emails be in cyberspace? This is frustrating for me, and I am not sure what to do. I was very nice to her in my email, explained that I had sent her the emails, and did not want to offend her, etc. She was not a "Use the yellow button" person, either---email addy in all emails.
Short of requesting every buyer to look in thier spam folder, is there anything I can do?

"should" well yes but considering the holiday plus the obvious secondary effects of Katrina could slow it down by a few days. I understand this was sent via Small Packet (Air) mostly these do arrive in the USA in under 10 days but certainly it is not always the case.
This is somewhat irrelevant to the current situation. This buyer is obviously "highly sensitive" while I don't want to blame camrynscloset for this mess it is a lesson to be learned that when accepting payment from a reversable source (PayPal, credit card etc.) the transaction does not end when the buyer leaves feedback. Actually I don't think this buyer is strictly purpetrating a fraud, a buyer doing this is more likely to just file the chargeback not leaving a neutral prior to the seller posting feedback.
Remember that a neutral falls off the horizon in only a few days or a couple of weeks. In a year it becomes almost totally invisible. Personally if a buyer is overly concerned by a couple of neutrals out of hundreds of positives then that is the kind of buyer I don't need as they have a high likelyhood of the irrational behaviour exhibited by your buyer.

I appreciate you helping me track my package. I will be glad to do the work myself if you provide me with a tracking number. Being new to Ebay, I am not sure if there is some way to find the number myself. If there is, just point the way and I will figure out the rest myself.
The shipping info. YOU provided said to wait two weeks for delivery, and I did. You can rest assured that I have NOT received my package. I have nothing to fear from the US or Canada postal services, so those threats are falling on deaf ears 🙂
Just as soon as my shoes turn up, I will cancel the pay pal thing. I honestly did not know what else to do since you had refused to help me. I was just following the rules, same as you, sweetie. I wasn't trying to anger you , but, I have to admit, I do feel a sense of satisfaction knowing you are huffing and puffing.
As far as me being "difficult" and being stopped from "doing this to another seller", I did not realize that asking for help checking out and asking for a tracking number was being difficult. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to keep me from following the rules and leaving accurate fb, which is all I am guilty of. If you want positive fb, then try a little harder to keep your customers happy.
In fact, YOU were the one being difficult by sending me an invoice that couldn't be accessed. You then compounded the problem by not answering my emails and not trying to contact me through ebay. (FYI..I checked my spam filters and there were no emails from you) Finally, you refused to help me track my package because I left neutral fb. Big deal !! Get over yourself !!
I thought feedback was a way for the ebay community to communicate with each other. My comments were accurate whether you like it or not. You are very lucky I did not leave negative fb. I gave you the benefit of the doubt 🙂
You can read MY fb and reassure yourself that I DO pay for my items in a timely fashion. If you were an experienced seller and if you knew that servers sometimes filter emails, you should have emailed me through ebay. I NEVER tried to avoid paying you.
I REFUSE to be intimidated by your threats and harassment. I will take legal action against you if you file an unpaid item against me because I HAVE, in fact, paid for the shoes. That would be LIBEL against my good name and I will NOT be bullied. I have done nothing wrong and have nothing to be afraid of.
Your lack of compassion for your fellow ebayers shines through. If you care to look at my fb you will see you lost a customer that would have been very lucrative to you. Perhaps you should find another line of work.
HUGS AND KISSES,
XXXXXXXXX
Here is the email I sent:
Dear Barry Barnett,
I have been informed of a paypal claim filed against me for item 6780518687, Gymboree Giraffe Club shoes size 2. I have already told you that shipping from Canada does take longer, I informed you that I mailed your item the day of payment (Aug 26) and upgraded your shipping to Air, instead of Ground, which is what you paid for. I did this because of the misunderstanding of the unpaid item dispute. Yet you have remained a very difficult person to deal with. The unpaid item dispute was closed as soon as you paid, and resulted in no strike to your account. However, should you pursue this Paypal claim, I will mark the item unpaid, file an unpaid item dispute, and have a strike placed on your account.
You have left feedback already, stating my slow response times and slow shipping. This indicates to me that you already received your item. I will contact Canada Post and File an "Item not received" complaint for your package, as all packages sent this way have insurance. Should their investigation prove that the item did indeed arrive at your residence, you could face postal fraud charges, with Canada Post as well as the United States Postal Service. This will ensure you can not do the same thing to any other seller. I certainly think my feedback proves that I am an honest seller who sends out items quickly. Canada Post also takes these claims seriously, they do not want to have to pay out fraudulent insurance claims.
Regards,
Heather Martin

I really, truly, hate this person! I know I am being irrational, but if it ever came down to a girl fight, I would kick her a$$ just based on how MAD I am.
I also think the comment about FB being a way to communicate with each other is screwy.
FYI: I was never rude, never unhelpful, and have replied to EVERY email, with the exception of the VERY last one requesting a tracking number. I have all these emails. I have copies of sent emails, weather in "My Messages" or in my "Sent Folder" in outlook. How could ALL of those emails NOT have arrived, but this one does?
PS-I sent this one to BOTH of her email addresses. She replied from the Paypal email address NOT the ebay one.

It does sound to me like there is a chance it will all work out, just pray the package actually arrives in the next 48 hours.

Also, thank you for letting her feel bad when she saw how fast I shipped, the extra shipping upgrade, and the freebies I threw in.
I got this email today:
"Hello. Just wanted to let you know I received the shoes today. I will cancel the INR thing with paypal. Have a great day.
Hugs, XXX"
How many NEWBIES know that a paypal claim is an INR?!?
Now, I am thinking about her FB.
One of two ways:
NEG for being a huge PITA
POS to make me look good.
I have a few months to think on it 😉

Just got an email today where the customer claimed to have sent me payment, but it was returned to him - no such address. Checked the info on that account ... eBay changed (I didn't) my address and payment address (didn't exist anymore) ... I can understand why he is pissed and threatening a neg.
Your customer was honest ... no proof from you ... that they got the item. You might have a customer for life.

Oops. Sorry.
Anyway, she is making me insane, which is exactly what she wants.
I don't understand how she could have sent all these messages (supposedly) and I didn't get any of them, now she is sending me 3 a day and I get them all.
How do I block her? I don't suppose you can?

In my eBay accounts I have done a little over 10,000 transactions. I got my first real nut case about a week and a half ago. I ship USPS with confirmation - he got the goods. Every day I get an email ... he got this ... did I ship the wrong stuff ... he got something I don't sell (it had a different name on the package), am I the guy the sold it or the addressee .... on and on.
I figure by our small sample ... you get an idiot about every 5000 buyers ... I think you are on low side ... me on the high. I figure both of us are good for another 5000 buyers before we hit another one. It's great to have common ground with you ... 5000 buyers and counting.
And smile ... don't let one AH get you down.
