I just tried to do a listing of the book through SIMILAR ITEM and in the description area I did not get the usual HTML and regular options and no inserts...

Opened another item in COLLECTIBLES trying to revise it... did not get these options as well.

If you know how to fix it, please share it with me.

Yeah, the tabs about the description are missing. We started noticing this a couple weeks ago when using sell similar.

I have not been paying that much attention, but, it seems to be happening with IE for me. I switch over to Firefox and I am okay, using the same listing for sell similar.

Recent updates to Internet Explorer that are automatically installed by Microsoft has caused issues with the Sell Your Item form tabs for Standard and HTML. If you try using compatibility mode in Internet Explorer options, this seems to fix the problem.

When you set compatibility mode, it is for eBay only. You might need to set compatibility mode in more than one eBay page since eBay uses different URLs on different pages.

If you have issues on other sites like PayPal, you would have to set compatibility mode when logged into those pages. It is very easy to turn off compatibility mode if it does not help.

I've used Sell Similar with Chrome, and have had no problems at all. I don't dare go back to IE.

Too bad, it's such a pain that IE no longer seems to be happy with anything.

I think its a mixture of IE (I am running IE11), your computer OS (mine is Win7 64bit), and your security program because I have no problems with any page on ebay. Also, my labels print with no problems.

I know, I shouldn't have written the above, tempting fate aren't I?

Thanks poco. Setting the compatibility view fixed the problem in IE. I keep my other User ID open in Firefox so as not to be logging in and out all the time. And I really didn't want to add a third browser. So thanks again.
