Was it returned, or delivered to you by mistake? Sometimes the 'from' address is picked up by the machines (or distracted posties) as the 'to' addresss by mistake. It's happened to me with xpresspost, and I know others have mentioned it in the forums.

Does your item fall under this notice from Canada Post
The designated postal operator of Ukraine has informed member countries of the Universal Postal Union of difficulties in delivering postal items to addressees in the Crimea and Sevastopol. This is due to the current situation in Ukraine and in particular on the Crimean peninsula.
At the request of Ukrainian State Enterprise of Posts “Ukrposhta,” Canada Post has suspended forwarding all mail and parcel items addressed to Crimea and Sevastopol (postal codes 95000-99999).
Mail and parcels that have already been deposited will be held temporarily. If there is no change in the situation in the coming days, all mail and parcels destined to these postal codes will be returned to sender. Once postal service has resumed, customers will be able to resend their mail items at no additional charge.

A few weeks ago I had a package going to belgium with a paypal label returned to me with no explanation, I put it back in the dropbox and it hasn't returned again!

I've had a few packages returned which had a light packet shipping label from Paypal. As mentioned by another poster, it was sent back because CP thought my address was the address that it was being sent to rather than where it was being sent from.

Yup the same thing happened to me when I sent light packet when I first started selling. I took the package into the post office and the clerk said she could not find anything wrong with it, so she thought it went to the from address instead of the "to" address. So we resolved the problem by putting an air mail sticker over the from address, worked like a charm. I have sent hundreds of items light packet, and have never gotten one back since.

I hope you mean you paid the extra and not the whole thing again?

If they return it saying not enough postage, just add the amount of postage you need or take it back to a postal outlet and get them to add it, no need to pay the whole amount again.

It happened aagain , saying it was refused .
So when the post man came knocking and told me that I had to pay for returned shipping I simply refused it.
I told him Throw it away.
So I just had to sign for it to be refused.
No more shipping to Mother Russia
