I've requested the cost of shipping five times and the seller responded with a Request to Cancel The Transaction. I do not want to cancel the transaction, I want the item I won honestly and expect the seller to invoice me showing shipping costs that are not over inflated to compensate for the low win. I expect the cost for 2lbs of buttons shipped from the states to Canada should be somewhere around 20$ since that is what the seller quoted me, and am fine with that amount even though I think it could be a bit high. Yet, the seller won't send me an invoice. It looks like I haven't or won't pay for my win but I'm quite willing to.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
Help please.

Hi Kalvin.
To follow up on my earlier post today in the "weekly hour",
1) when was the change of policy announced to members?
2) Is that fair to buyers?
3) Is that really how eBay wants to deal with buyers? Reward a bad seller at the expense of a good buyer?
Of course the buyer could always waste his time calling eBay and eventually having the strike removed. That is not the point is it? Why should the buyer have to go through that? He is not at fault.

Bump for Kalvin

LOL Well, seller at least obliged me with feedback. Too funny. There is life there after all. 🙂

You should report him for policy violation - leaving positive feedback with negative content.

Yes, and eBay will promptly remove that ugly blot on your FB page. Unbelievable seller!

I'll try and let you know how I make out. 🙂

Won't let me, says they are updating and I can't leave any complaint at this time. 😞
This whole experience is enough to chase any buyer away. And the seller... well, they just keep on trucking...

Yikes, when is eBay not updating?
I just wish they'd focus a little more of their efforts on making this site function consistently.
I feel for you in this ridiculous situation, but I hope eBay ultimately does the right thing on your behalf.

There are many problems at this moment. I just tried to revise a large number of listings (lowering prices) and the bulk edit system cannot be accessed at this time.

Last night was regular weekly maintenance for eBay for 2 hrs from 11p to 1 am PT (2-4 am ET). So most likely they are having issues with system changes today.
