Seller called me

I bought an item on the weekend.

I received a call tonight from the seller stating the item was not in stock & they would refund me, which they not done yet.

What information do sellers get?

I did not think they got my phone number

I have a little more information to give hoping it get me an answer to my question-

I asked the seller a question about the product before buying it, the paid by paypal.

if the seller has your phone #, its because it is on file. i find it very courteous for a seller to call when there's a challenge. 

you should fell privileged.

time is your side for the refund.

Request a member's contact information

If you're involved in a current or recent transaction, and can't reach the other member through email, you can request the other member's contact information. Here's how:

1. Click the Advanced link at the top of most eBay pages.

2. In the Members section on the left side of the page, click the Find contact information link.

3. Enter the user ID of the member and the transaction's item number.

We'll send the contact information, including the member's name, city, and telephone number, to your registered email address. The member will also receive your contact information. You'll both need to respect our Privacy Policy when using this information.

If the seller is using Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro, the sales record generated by eBay has the buyer phone number for many sales. No need to request contact information.
