Seller will not contact me about the shipping cost

I have bought an item but seller will not contact me about the shipping cost.

I have tried to pay twice now and each time the message says there is no amount for shipping this item to your area please contact the seller to get an invoice with the shipping amount.

As I said I have tried twice but cannot get an answer from the seller.

I do not wish to get an automated Ebay message telling me if I do not pay soon I will have a late payment problem

Any help will be appreciated

Twice in half an hour? Twice this weekend? Twice in two weeks?

Some sellers do not work on weekends, which is silly, but...

Choose "Problem not here" and report that you have not been given a shipping number.

Now.

Since the seller does not give a shipping fee for Canada, or you would have received the invoice automatically, does he state that he sells to Canada? Does he use the Global Shipping Program?

Were you aware that if a seller does not give a shipping amount, he can decide what that amount should be after you have contracted to buy, and eBay will stand by him, no matter how unreasonable it is?

Never bide without a firm shipping fee.
