Seller won't accept request tp cancel

I have to pay this seller for 2 plates. BIG question now is....2 plates - 25.00, S&H  29.18,

Import charges 6.76.

Will I have to pay additional funds upon receipt of these 2 plates? Thanks kindly Ace.

no more duty if that is what you mean, just accept the sale and in future dont buy from sellers who use global shipping program.

No,  You've paid it alreasy.

It sounds as if the seller is using the Global Shipping Program.

EBay does not encourage sellers to use this for items under $50, for exactly the reason you give.

However. In this case, it sounds as if the $6.76 represents duty (probably zero) sales tax (approx. $3.75 at HST  15%, could be lower in some provinces) and service fee (about $3.01)  which is collexted by Pitney Bowes as the Global Shipping Program

PLUS the seller's shipping fee of $29.18 , which he uses for postage to Kentucky where the parcel is processed for delivery to you in Canada.

And that's  pretty high considering the cost of shipping Domestically by USPS  even with Delivery Confirmation.

I wonder if your seller has been selling to Canada for a while and is charging you shipping as if he is sending to you directly  rather than to the Kentucky trans-shipment facility?
