According to an announcement on May 2, the branded shipping supplies coupon code for store owners would be sent out by May 31. Has anyone received one by email and/or message? I know that some sellers were able to access the coupon in the manage your store section but I haven't been able to do that and haven't yet received a coupon code.

2nd question....has anyone used their coupon code?
When I looked earlier, the least expensive item was $53.45 for 25 boxes 6" x 4" x 4". If I used a $35 basic store coupon I would still have to pay $18.45 for the boxes. Or, I could order 25 boxes of the same size for $8.29 from staples. I don't see any value in paying more than double for boxes just because they have eBay's name on them.

"have you recieved shipping supplies code?"
No.
PS - If one were to ask Raphael I am confident he would have a good excuse or would contact the "team" in charge of this project and let us know..... eventually.

I suspect this was a case of eBay actually acting on complaints that the branded product was available to US sellers but not to Canadians.
So they made it available-- but without dealing with the higher cost of making a niche product available to a tiny market. (Canadian eBaySellers who want branded boxes and can use those sizes) So maybe 30 people?

I've received nothing.

eBay's Branded Tape Stinks - LiterallyBy: Ina Steiner |
Sponsored Link |
![]() We're receiving feedback about eBay's new branded shipping supplies, and here is something you should know if you're tempted to order eBay packing tape: it stinks - literally. "New eBay branded tape is very stinky," a reader told us. "I threw away a case of Chinese made tape bought off eBay because it stunk so bad, I suspect it had formaldehyde based adhesive. Now I get my eBay branded tape and it smells exactly the same." eBay is giving Store owners coupons good toward the shipping supplies to take some of the sting out of higher monthly subscription fees, but sellers pointed out another problem: you have to use the entire coupon in a single order. |

So far all I have received is the .COM coupon that I cannot use.... nothing else yet...
(My store and items are all listed on .COM so that's where I got the coupon for. I'm a "legacy" user...)

No Code received here either

I think we should broach this tomorrow at Board Hour.

I was wondering the exact same thing yesterday, because I got nothing yet. Even today, nothing showed up. 😞

"Technical Issues" are you kidding me. I ask: Is there anything and I mean anything in ebay's corporate world that "Technical Issues" isn't the stock answer for ? I assume employees can call in and say "I,m having "technical issues" getting dressed so I won't be in." Based on above, that should be completely acceptable. Unless of course ebay is hypocritical. 🙂
I "try" to ignore the daily disrespectful excuses for their behaviour, and have the midset, "Ebay is just a venue (remember those days) with rules I must follow to use such venue"

A US seller with an Anchor store gets a $75 US coupon every three months.....
with this amount a seller can buy ... THREE ...units of 25 boxes at about $25 to $30 each with free shipping.( units I would be interested in buying)... and with some added money if three units are purchased
In contrast...
A Canadian seller gets a coupon for $105 Canadian dollars.......,
The same boxes are about $135 Canadian dollars a unit for Canadian sellers.... A Canadian seller pays $25 of their own money to get ... ONE ...unit of 25 boxes
And then we do not know what is included in that $135 and whether there will be extra added-on costs
- - - - - -
Canadian sellers
(1) Cannot buy ONE unit of boxes without paying extra ... compared to THREE units for US sellers
(2) Canadian sellers do not get free shipping.... US sellers get free shipping
Technical issues.....
The main issue is that Canadian sellers are not treated equal to US sellers........
with respect to free shipping
and
with respect to the amount of supplies Canadian sellers can buy compared to US sellers... with the same coupon
Canadian sellers can buy local supplies and do better than with the coupon
Why spend that extra $25 on a single unit of 25 boxes purchased with an eBay coupon. ...
if a Canadian seller can get the same unit of boxes locally and with less trouble or unknown factors..
With $105 Canadian I can buy about 4 units of 25 boxes each ... from Staples.
- - - - - - - -
If a single unit of boxes is valued at $25 US for US sellers ..... with free shipping
then ...
Those same boxes should also be valued at $25 US for Canadian sellers ... also with free shipping

I received my shipping supply coupon today for CAD $35. I've just migrated all my listings to eBay.com but was able to access it through eBay.ca.
I scoured the 18 listings available in the eBay shipping supplies store and the least expensive item is US $50. And the only items I need start at US $70.
And the coupon expires July 1 so I can't 'save up' coupons to buy what I need. Very disappointing.

At least you actually got a coupon.
I tried the instruction in the email.....
The easiest way to find your quarterly coupon code is to go to My eBay and then hover over the link for My eBay.
Nothing there? So I went to announcement which has a handy dandy graphic showing dummies like me where to find the coupon. Back to My eBay, hover over My eBay,, dropdown appears.......NO COUPON!

I got my coupon and had a look at the supplies. The link does not work, I had to cut and paste into my browser.
Absurdly over priced supplies.
Coupon does absolutely 0 good due to high and gouging prices.
I guess we canucks got the shaft again. Store price increase and useless coupon good for nothing.
Maybe we can harass on Wednesday chat board and see what kind of justification we are given for this trash.

I think the cheapest item on the menu is $53.00
06-13-2016 08:30 PM
I don't have a coupon or any message indicating such yet.
