This weekend so far has been unusually dead.

Weekends is when I do most of my sales.  Usually 7 to 12 a weekend.  This weekend so far nothing.  It's like I am a ghost.

How have your sales been this weekend?

Pretty normal, but mostly from Canada (one from France, one from California).

I guess our American customers got trampled in the Black Friday sales at WalMart. Normally, most of my sales are to the States.

But more seriously, I expect my sales to drop this next month. I've found that my customers, collectors all, spend their hobby allowance on gifts for others until Boxing Day.

Then they take their December allowance (self-administered, of course) and their January allowance, and go on a spree.

At one point about a decade ago, I just closed my shop when Canada Post told its customers that parcels would probably not be delivered in time for Christmas. That started about mid-November at the time. They seem to be more confident now. Possibly because of tracked shipping like ExpressPost and Expedited Parcel.

Wouldn't you know it, I had a sale after I posted.  I find I am really busy over Dec, people buying CD's for Christmas for grandma, grandpa etc.

I've been busy but right now I can't log into paypal to create a postage label.

i have had a problem for a month trying to print shipping labels off paypal and the problem is usually on the weekend,and as far as sales nothing this weekend lotsa watchers,if i could charge watchers a buck a day i wouldnt care if i ever sold anything lol

Black Friday weekend is often slow for me as far as sales go but this weekend hasn't been too bad. But I haven't had any U.S. buyers yet this weekend. They have been from Canada or the UK,

Same here: Canada and Europe. Not huge sales but a few. Next week is usually the hairiest for me due to deadlines passing for overseas airmail by Xmas. There are times when I wonder if I should alter my listings to only tracked services for international destinations after Nov. 30 but I can't quite bring myself to do it. 

The guy at the authorized dealer postal counter today told me mail to Finland had been suspended due to labour disruptions. I can't find anything at CPC about that, however, when I go to that page I bookmarked by Royal Mail from UK it says the Finnish strike ended Nov. 26 but there is a glut of mail to clear first.

Well Sunday picked up and I sold 5.  Almost all to the US.  Go figure.  So not a total loss.
