Ahh, it sounds like you've bought from a seller who uses that Global $hipping Program. Well, as with any parcel coming through the mail, if the number is trackable and Canada Post scans it, it would show up here:

If days and weeks go by and still nothing, it doesn't mean your parcel will not arrive, rather that the G$P is fraught with infuriating annoyances, 'untrackable tracking' is but one. Just keep in mind the deadlines, - 45 days to file a Not Received claim, although after about 30 days you might like to contact the seller to see if s/he can find out anything on that end.
