Unpaid Items on the rise...

From my last 4 reports:
Unpaid Items reported as % of sold items 17.0% , 3.9% , 18.8%, 23.5%

Wow, my unpaid items for the last 4 weeks are really high. Usually I am between 5-10%.

Auctions work really well for my type of items and my market. But seriously may start looking at BIN's with immediate payment required.

My sales have increased, even with the non-payers, so I am not going anywhere, just really wish buyers would not bid, if they don't intend to pay! Am happy that the dispute process is now a shorter time frame.

Anyone else seeing an increase?

I too, have had a lot of "cancel" requests. Say they bid by mistake, or changed their minds, etc.
Even had a 2nd chance winner, say they did not mean to take the 2nd chance! That was a first.

Past months, I had only two unpaid items, I relisted and sold it higher price then unpaid bidder. I put automatical upaid open after 8th day by eBAy if buyer does not pay. I had another unpaid item waiting but buyer contact me they will be paying this weekend.

I find some buyer, intend to put communication on delayed payment, IT made so sense that seller aware the delayed payement, no need to dispute unpaid.

Most my buyer pay within 3 business day or immediate in auctions! So far I am seeing well going,

If i see no payment after 1 business day with "0" point bidder, I wrote to them "when can i expect your payment, please confirm. usually buyer response with payment. So far most my past month buyer were 0. point.

Update: Iam having unpaid item issue on auction format so far four of them been cancelled. one of them paid my relisting fees.
That make me feel good to have such wonderful buyer who can understand the process eBay.

Any one having weird unpaid item from April 1 onward??
