*VENT* Buyers not emailing issues/concerns or just plain impatience

Sorry I just need a vent.

I am sick and tired of buyers leaving me negative feedback without contact me first about their problem. I just got another negative for a person who only waited 1 week to receive their internation shipment, in which they only paid for regular post and my website CLEARLY states 5-15 BUSINESS DAYS. I cant make the mail man work any faster if your not willing to pay the faster shipping rates.

Ive had others leave feedback about a sizing issue, im sorry but when you are plus size and buy a small, i think you are the one with the issue. But they just up and leave it without saying anything to me first. I WILL help them out, they just have to ask!

I really am begining to feel discouraged with eBay now that I know that I wont even be able to leave negative feedback back, when communication is part of the process and they lacked that then I think they deserve a negative. And what about the people who take a month to pay! at the end of the day they still pay but then expect their item within what seems like minutes.

I dont know what more to do...I guess I just need a rant. I take pride in my feedback and my product and am just getting absolutely sick of STUPID PEOPLE.

Welcome to the new Greedbay, where sellers have no rights anymore, and the good quality sellers with 100% feedback will be extinct within 3 months.

But "they listened????". Give me a break. The only thing they listened to was their burning desire to make more money. The unattainable DSR ratings to get 15% off FVF is the joke of the century, as is taking away the ability to leave neg feedback. All the while still not allowing us to block bidders with zero feedback to try to protect our reputations.

The circles of power sellers and private individuals and forums that I have spoken with all agree with one thing. These are some of the worst business decisions that Ebay could ever have made. There is not a seller out there that is not looking for, or already implementing, a better venue with a more level and fair playing field to sell their wares, and without the ripoff fees and one- sided rules that can only be found on Feebay.

Nuff said.

AXE.

I posted this comment on another thread (the helpful links) but it fits here too. . .

I would like ebay to consider the following (to solve the problem of impatient US buyers leaving quick and undeserved negatives because of common +10 day delivery times from Canada). Buyers should not be able to leave negative feedback for a seller until 21 days after the item has been paid for. This will at least force buyers to wait and give our Canada Post Small Packet and Expedited Parcels a hope of reaching buyers before they can post a negative.

I am reading about a lot of PS changing their venue for selling, but have not heard of anything other thay eBay as a selling platform with millions of viewers...

Anyone have a list of other venues that could be used in fair market competition to eBay?

I would appreciate receiving URL addresses to review other selling venues.

Thanks.

That could work if the buyer pays through PayPal but what if they mail payment? Does ebay start counting from the time the buyer sends the checkout notice that they're mailing payment? Do they trust the buyer to actually let them know when payment has been physically mailed? How about letting the seller give notice that payment has been received - are we trustworthy enough for that?

I think there are too many variables for that to work. Unless you want to have ebay decide that we must all accept ONLY PAYPAL?? No thanks! I LIKE my mailed payments - no added fees!!!
