Hi everyone,
I am selling Neckties, on Ebay.ca if I search "Neckties" I can see my stuff 125+ times out of 200 listing which is pretty good.
On Ebay.com, 0 out of 200.
Still I can find my items if I narrow the research but I am getting almost to 0 visibility.
I would appreciated any hint, clues to correct my listings.
Thank you.

Are you listing on ca or com? Half way down left side of dor com page is
Item Location

Item specifics. eg one of yours for an Arrow tie 130964202014 vs one that has the brand and other info as item specifics 271258791679. granted it will be a lot of work to change 3,000 listings and it won't be a magic bullet with so many listed. 25,000 auciton format alone and so many of the fixed price at the front being chinese with many sales from single listings selling for almost nothing. I'd say run auctions but you already are.

I just searched neckties on .com using best match and on the first page 90+ (out of 100) listings are from China or Hong Kong. They seem to be favoured in that category.
One thing I would suggest is that rather than having the word neck tie at the end of the title, put it closer to the front or middle. I don't know if that will help you in best match but I have read that google is more likely to pick up your listing if the actual item is in the first 5 or 6 words. I don't have any proof of that though.
I've also heard that ebay favours the listings that use the ebay gallery for the pictures rather than put them in the listing. Has anyone else heard that?
Pics in the gallery would probably work better for mobile shoppers too.

Cassinni has changed the search alogythm. I do not have TRS yet my widgets appear ahead of TRS sellers. Why? List on com, one day handling, 30 day refund, lots of pictures, "great description".
The "great description" thing continues to vex me. eBay makes a lot of reference to that exact phraseology. Somehow, I "think", that is being included into search.
Search placement has become very complicated.

Your lack of visibility on eBay.com may be temporary and caused by your recent multiple revisions. It is not unusual for items to be re-indexed on eBay.com following multiple revisions. The process may take several hours.

By the way, I noticed that your fixed price listings read:
Up for auction is a men necktie in :
Since the listing does not use the auction format, it would be appropriate to change the wording to read:
Up for sale is a men necktie in :

I haven't noticed a drop in traffic according to Omniture so i assume my placement is still pretty good.

My observation is that items from ebay.ca and ebay.com receive similar visibility.
But if you are signed-in on one and not another, it will make huge difference. Try both searches while using private browser window - so Ebay does not remember you. Private (or incognito) browser window does not share the cookies with your main browser, but multiple private windows share cookies among themselves. Private browser cookies are wiped after you close the last private window, so when you open next one, you are completely new visitor for ebay search engine.
Search engines (Ebay, Google) may be penalizing you for all-cap titles. But many sellers in your category do that, so maybe it's nothing.
Ebay takes between 1min to 12hrs to reindex changes, Google can take days or weeks.
I observed that lot of unsold auctions drains visibility from all your other items. If your auctions are not selling, stop using them, or if you want to keep using auctions, try to make the S/T ratio go over 50%. You may try to open another account to experiment, there is no visibility drainage cross-account even if they are connected.
Properly listed auctions should show up in "ending first fashion" toward the end of their life so in theory they should make it to the top. The improperly listed auctions will not make it to the first page even when they have 5min left. You may have all the keywords, free shipping, stellar description and your auction may still not make it to Group 1.
