Sold an item to this buyer in UK. She originally purchased a size S coat but later decided to get an XS instead before shipment which we did accordingly. After she received the coat, she said it was too small......We told her: Fine, send it back and we'll refund in full (including one way shipping). But she asked us to even cover the return postage, which we refused. And then she opened a case even before sending back the coat and below was her last post to us:
I reported this to eBay, but don't know if eBay would do anything about this...if they don't, they are simply forcing good sellers like us out of eBay, cause bottom line is we cannot compromise safety for us and our families due to selling something on eBay, can anyone?
So be careful of this buyer, she seems crazy......

You will find that most times buyers write to vent and don't have the mean to do anything.
Give it time.

I know...But what about a negative feedback, that alone will hurt, does it not?

According to the following, if they do leave negative feedback, you should be able to get it removed because the buyer is asking for something that isn't a part of the sale. (free return shipping). Their message is quite clear that if you don't do x, they will leave bad feedback.
This type of Feedback may be removed:
Feedback that only refers to a listing's structured details when there aren't contradictory words or photos in the description. Structured details include:
Item condition
Item specifics
Sales tax
Return policy
Combined postage
Accepted payments
A buyer made a request that was clearly different from what was stated in the listing, and the seller didn't accommodate the request. For example, a buyer left negative Feedback because they requested a different delivery method than what was offered in the listing, and the seller refused.

While the threat is laughable (She wears and extra small and wants to kick your posterior?), I have a vision on sending a note.
"Thank you for your information about your intended visit to Canada. Your email has been forwarded to the Canadian High Commission in London , which issues visas and the the Canadian Border Services Agency which patrols airports. Enjoy your vacation.'
And note how polite and friendly that is?

Yes, that's the fantasy, and some days don't we wish we could follow through. But obviously with this type of buyer any response other than what she is demanding (return postage paid) will just feed into her anger and escalate the situation, especially if a message were seen to be snarky or sarcastic. No, if I had this buyer to deal with, I'd remain calm but keep any communication factual and to a bare minimum, and hope that eBay will intervene.
I agree with 'pj' that there is probably enough substance in her actions to be able to get eBay to remove negative FB.
To the OP -- I'd also think, based on the buyer's horrid little message to you, that there is grounds to call her behaviour feedback extortion, which should encourage eBay to shut down any further blow-back from this buyer. I would specifically report "feedback extortion" to eBay if you haven't already used that term.
It's hard to believe there are such people out there. This makes me think of those incidents of road rage where the smallest, most trivial issue creates a hell-storm of completely disproportionate reaction. Honestly, if she's got the money to travel to Canada, she's got the money to pay for return shipping. The truth is, this is probably someone who just can't tolerate being told "no".

By the way, as ludicrous as this buyer's message may sound, it's the unauthorized release of your personal ID, phone number, address, etc. that's the real concern these days. It's not so hard to do that kind of damage anymore.
I would even say the last line of this buyer's message can be construed as uttering personal threats -- I might be tempted to quietly report her to the authorities (i.e. without saying a word to her directly), or at least look into whether such a report could be made. I'm not sure whether the RCMP or another federal agency would be appropriate; whatever agency would be able to liaise with UK law enforcement. You never know what sort of background or history this person already has.
Your alternative is to try to make eBay do the intervening for you and have as little to do with this buyer as possible until you can just rid yourself of her for good and let her focus on her next victim.

Yes, I see "Leslie" has been here -- I was going to say that putting the buyer's ID and quoting her message was a no-no on these boards and would soon be taken down. Nonetheless, a few of us were able to give some opinions based on the actual facts, so you have some relevant comments to consider.

Oh my, yes, that was a fantasy. Maybe I should stick with writing Firefly fanfic, which nobody takes seriously.

Rose- the buyer would have received some of that information automatically as part of the payment process. And eBay will release such information on a quid pro quo basis if one party to a transaction asks. The other party gets the matching information. In spite of the nastiness of this buyer, I think aiding communication is more important than worrying about occasional nuts and nitwits. (In this case the looney buyer.)
