Well, it was fun while it lasted...

Yup, the day has cometh...

I am restricted from selling on eBay, with 50+ listings pulled.

My seller performance is below acceptable levels, it seems.

Seems like one Neutral feedback (Item as described) with corresponding low DSRs was enough to send my account over the edge.

Funny, I just became - again - a Power Seller, just last month, I received the 5% discount, and was doing quite well.

So I don't know what happens now...

DSRs have killed me, something that I had no control over.

Way to go, eBay !

5 years and two weeks about, thousands of dollars in fees paid, and I am convicted because of issues I have no control over:

Shipping Time: 3% instead of the max 2%

Seems I have let down 3 people out of 100...

I ship the same day, I communicate my shipping timeframes, I bend over backwards to please my buyers.

Not good enough !

I am sorry, I don't know how to do it better. I gave my best, I simply don't know what and how to do more.

THIS IS SO NOT FAIR !

Sorry to hear about the issues your having. Funny that sellers get cut off from selling for having 3% of their customers unhappy, yet buyers seem to be able to ignore payment and file Items Not Received Claims at will.

This DSR system is crazy flawed. In the real world, I'd highly doubt many businesses have a 97% customer satisfaction rating.

Where were the low DSR's coming from? I did notice US buyers have gotten a bit more demanding recently.

Good luck getting this worked out.

Yes, I agree.

A bogus neg last February, from a buyer I am convinced was stalking me, knocked me from a 20% discount back to 5% for the past year.

I freely admit I had a couple of other slow shipping stars, but again transit time rather than mailing time.

And now a buyer (who is also a seller in a different category) has claimed his LetterPost item is Not Received . I refunded promptly of course, but we will see what she does about DSRs.

My condolences. But remember, everything bad is good for something. Perhaps this is a way of life telling you to stop clinging and move on.

eBay does not control all e-commerce. Do not forget our challenge, perhaps this is going to become even more challenging. I would be also interested to shift the focus of my sales out of eBay but eBay makes us lazy, we pay them and they bring traffic.

Well, that challenge is sure to be a lot more ... err... challenging now...

I had a very good run last week, with more than double of my average sales, and life was looking good...

I spent a couple of hundred dollars half an hour before the axe fell, to buy more components, so right now I have enough stuff coming my way to support two months worth of good eBay sales. Or two years of off eBay sales... sigh...

You are right about being lazy, but eBay actually provided results unlike the other whole bunch of different sites...

Even my website is only generating just a bit more than enough that it costs me to keep it running. So at least it is paying for itself...

I have a full time business to run, and chasing online ways to sell is not really feasible for me, as there are only 24 hours in a day...

And the plastic molding business is slow every year at this time, so I have to run around taking care of that, too. But it's also true that now is the time when I can look around on branching out...

So sorry to hear that Plasmaco. eBay sure is pushing us hard to take our business elsewhere.

Sorry to hear this, this seems very unfair, is there any word that ebay is going to review the feedback system, it`s not right to be held hostage like this, I too have had some trouble of late with the rating system.

Same thing happens to me, one idiotic buyer kills me. I tried my best to run my full time business selling on Ebay and just agot neg from a guy who does not read the description and also does not understand the product. No amount of reasoning will make him take it back. O well, life goes on.
