I received a bit of information from the sessions but was more interested in talking to the ebay Canada Reps there to try and get some questions answered.

I found that Marsha did not know the market that well in Canada and some of the restrictions that we are working with as Canadian sellers.

She did not understand that it is a different playing field here than in the US due to our rules to sell are a bit different.

If you are putting on a teaching session and are supposed to be an expert then you should not be asking some of the simple questions she was asking on market differences.

The session was a good one but I did not get any ground breaking information that I could use for my business here at this time.

Was a bit disturbed to see the mass evacuation by the EBAY Reps even before the key speaker had left.

It goes to show you what the interest is by ebay.ca reps have to meet the people they are representing and the interest in generating new ones locally.

They were all very young (in their mid 20's) which was a bit of a concern to see who is running or representing ebay.ca at head office.

I have not heard from them myself and they don't return phone calls when making inquiries directly.

Was going to go to ebay live but I spent my budget at another conference where I got more bang for my buck.

The guy with the watches was an interesting person to meet and was I think telling a big yard.

Very confusing person. I agree !!

I guess you would meet more people like him if you went to another ebay event.

Scared of you? No. But I don't appreciate threats thanks.

I don't read everything on the boards let alone answer them all. I try to spend/waste less time on the boards and do work. I make a lot of items that I sell and they take time. I find it more productive to spend my time making things than on the chat boards.

I'd rather spend my hours beading, knitting or crocheting than on here. If I can help someone out with something I know about, that's great, but most of the time, it's not worth it.
