What NOW?

On Jan 13, I sent a parcel to SPAIN.
Customer put in a claim with eBay for non receipt.
62 days after initial purchase (yesterday), I went to the PO to pick up a package (which I had to pay $33 - to pick up)

Lo and behold if it wasn't the package I sent to SPAIN.
No explanation why it was send back.
But it did make it to SPAIN and what happened after that I have no idea.

I have no intentions of sending this back to the buyer, and I want to refund the buyers money but it is past the deadline to do so at paypal.

What can I do so I can at least - get my FVF, paypal fees and postage back.

I phoned CP, about the postage. Because I bought my postage through paypal, they told me I had to go back to paypal to get that money back.

So far it order has cost me my FVF, paypal fees and an extra $33 in postage.

Any ideas?

When you do your income taxes, you can claim it as a deduction.

Be happy that at least you got your goods back and be thankful it doesn't happen too often (3 times in 10 years for me).

I have shipped a $150 order two years ago finding out we screwed up the address. I would gladly pay $33 to get it back, but it never came.

Btw. last week I got a $1k parcel and supplier forgot street address only Burlington, Ontario, Canada. There is 150k people here. DHL found me and they did not even take longer than if the parcel had correct address 🙂 Driver told me they have dept. just for that.

You can't refund the purchase after 60 days, so I would not get any paypal fees back.

It actually was 62 days.

I personally Discontinued shipping To international on 90% of my packages . SO SICK and tired of lost packages abroad + the international gives crappier dsr then domestic / usa .

90% of my customers are International not USA.

This is the first time that 3 parcels never made it to their destination.

But out of 3, I got 1 back, so I'm down to 2 missing.

Still hoping my customers get their parcels.
