What do I do in this circumstance?

Just had a buyer tell me that when she received her craft pattern today, she realized that it is one she already has. She wants to return it, and wants to know my policy.

 

I am happy for her to return it, and obviously she should pay the return shipping. However, what other fees would not be refunded to me? I did nothing wrong, so I don't think I should be out anything on this.

I suggest you let your buyer know that the full purchase price will be refunded immediately upon receipt of the item.

 

Your written policy in your eBay listings state 14 day return privilege with money back.

 

From time to time all active sellers have to absorb a return.  Looking at the big picture, it is no big deal.
