What happens when a buyer wants to return an item, but doesn't do it?

Had a buyer request a return saying an item was inoperative.  I agreed to the return but now the buyer hasn't returned it.  How long will that return stay on my dashboard?  I've contacted the buyer but no reply to when the item will be returned. I have not refunded.

If the time for which the buyer has been given through Returns to mail it back has elapsed with no tracking provided, call ebay Customer Service to ask about closing it. Otherwise, it will be active 30+ days until it times out on its own. I know from experience with the former although it was a Remorse Return and await confirmation of the latter with my own other second one not yet sent bak. It will be 30 days old today.
