What is a "A" stamp worth, when using for postage. Or can I even use them?

Canadain stamp, maple leaf with "A" value, like this? : http://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/1981-Scott-PB-907-Maple-leaf-Mint-and-Never-Hinged-Extremely-Fine-/32126...

Printed in 1981, the value was 30 cents. Not sure if you can still use, if yes, it worth 30 cents each.

(Scott catalogue 2009 value is about 85 cents each, you may try to sell to a stamp collector)

It is still worth 30c but I strongly recommend you write in small text beneath it on the package 30c with an arrow to it so your and or any other interested posties en-route don't flag it since many will have no idea what it is worth. (I always write the value beneath them on the package and I only use them for Canadian shipments that are tracked)

The "A" stamp is still worth the original thirty cents ($0.30) but, technically, should only be used on domestic mail.
