What’s the deal with books >magazines back issues: other category? I was going to post a magazine or at least a few magazines in the back issue category. These magazines were Playboy ranging from 1986 to 1999. However while I was setting up the listing I saw this;  (Attention Sellers: Alert

Playboy, Penthouse, and Playgirl magazines sold here must clearly show the month and year of publication, and only magazines published before 1980 may be posted.)

So this got me curious, and I went to search for a 1988 Playboy magazine on eBay, which of course I found in the category of back issues.

So what's the deal, can playboy magazines be sold post 1980? If not why are they being sold in the back issue, or why post an alert message that states only magazines published pre-1980?

 I wouldn't mind if an actual eBay customer service representative answered this question.

Why yours got flagged and the ones you found did not I do not know.

They can but they have to be listed on eBay.com in the Adult Section
