When I attempt to list an item, I follow the prompts. I repeatedly have the red box come up telling me to pick a category from the drop dow

Selling:

programme will not let me list any items.  I fill in the description. check the drop down box and repeatedly get the red box telling me to select suitable category. Any suggestions?
