Hi , Canadian echeques take 8-9 (sometimes longer) days to clear to seller and yes, its going to continue unless  1 of 2 actions occur..

Can ..1, maintain a balance in PP account to cover purchases by add funds from bank. Balance instant to seller.

2 and best.. add a credit card or bank Visa/mastercard debit. Payments are instant from either bank or card. Debit card is bank only , of course.

If you add a credit card to your Paypal account, your eBay payments will be instant.

In addition, should a problem arise you have both Paypal Buyer Protection and the card's Chargeback Programme to cover you.
