Why do listings disappear from my Purchase History when I contact seller? Prevents feedback!

Many times now, items have been removed from my Purchase History after I've contacted a seller for assistance.  I have reached a satisfactory solution in every case, but cannot leave positive feedback.  I have even tried to respond to an message thread and been told the item is invalid.

What gives?

i have the same problem for 5 item that I bought, I cannot write any feedback. 2 of them diseapeared from my list and I have not received the items. This list is tricky. I contact the sellers right away and wait for an answer. Lucky a copy is saved to archived so I know what I bought. But how they can control our feedback ?

Ditto. I bought something and the wrong thing was sent to me. I wrote the seller 2 messages and he sent no answer and now I want to leave negative feedback but the purchase has disappeared from my list. I at least want to remember who the seller is so I don't buy anything from him again...
