exchange rate does not make sense.Item listed for less in canadian dollars and then when u pay u pay more than than the U.S price.

Exchange rates change constantly. Minute by minute even, although most posted rates are based on the bank to bank rate of the day before.
The differences are miniscule unless there has been a huge huge foofaraw on Bay Street.
Also buy prices are different from sell prices. And any business buying and selling currencies takes a commission.

Sure it makes sense, - when you factor in the paypal exchange rate fee of 2.5%. 🙂
When we buy in a currency other than our own, there is always a fee for exchange no matter 'how' we pay for it, paypal, credit card, bank, whatever. And of course, the translated version you see when shopping on ebay is a little more favourable than what you pay at the checkout, but only a bit.
