Hello,
I'm having problems selling an item and it has become very frustrating trying to figure out what the issue is. When I go to sell an item I have to log in after confirming the post to confirm changes and then an email is sent to my account to complete registration after a page saying just one more step! When I click on the Activate now, it takes me back to confirming the listing and it's just one big cycle. My seller dashboard has the following messages:
Some of your information is not available at this time. Please try again later.
Your account has not been created
Your eBay account has not been activated yet. Accounts are not accessible until an actual debit or credit has first been posted to the account, even though you may have already filled out our account creation form. This message confirms to you that you have no credit or debit balance at this time.
What does this mean?!
My account type is Individual.
My Paypal is business.
Is this where the issue is? Do I need to change my paypal to personal? I've been trying for days to list this one item and every time I just get stuck in the same loop and it's making me not want to use ebay as it has been nothing but a pain. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

You don't need a business account for Paypal. That requires special bank authorization. I would suspect your problem lays in what you have connected to paypal versus what ebay expects to find for that. You can't sell on ebay until you have linked bank account and credit card with paypal. That's your seller account requirement, it's another level of serious from a buying account.
On another note, your ID is new but have you had experience on ebay as a buyer? You really want to do that before you try to sell here. If you have an existing account as a buyer, use that one for starting to sell instead.
