Worst month in sales since 2003 (Premium store DSR 4.8/4.9) - anybody else? I am really scared!

Same. But I have been working promoting my website, so let eBay slip a bit.

Distressed by the visitor count for my eBay listings. I have elevated exposure, but the counts are very low. Less than half the visits I had last year at this time. Nasty.

Lots of visitors, lots of bids, but also lots of people paying very slowly, or not at all.

Very slow here...but I have reduced my listings by 2/3 so it's not all that surprising.

I'm focusing on my off-ebay site.

Same here, I am a small seller but I have had only 5 sales to date, so I am concentrating on a big Car Show coming up in July to sell my wares if that works who knows, maybe eBay will become a thing of the past. (PS:;-) entrance fees for seller is $25.00 - NO Comissions, NO listing fees, NO shipping, NO Paypal fees, cash on the barrelhead, what more could I ask for);-)

well... after my sales dropped 90% - thanks to the "best much" BS X-( I decided to close my eBay store for now and wait...
Thanks to this decision finally I had time to finish my website and it is slowly picking up :^O

I am heading for one of my best months sales ever. Go figure! Historically, I always see a drop off during May-August. May was true to form, but if June keeps up at present pace, I will end up setting a new personal record.

Im booming making more money this year then last aiming at 1 million in profit in the next 12 months (only 1/3d is on ebay though)

Making 1k a day on 75 % selling restriction once they take off at end of month ill be going to 2 k a day 😄

I have been struggling to find the time to create my off ebay website. I think my problem is that I want so many features -- like when people buy more than one strand of beads, I would like to give them a better price -- that sort of thing.

And I would like for people to be able to pay with credit cards, not just through Paypal.

Maybe I'm trying to do too much at once.

Anyhow, with ebay's new rules, working on my site has suddenly become a major priority.

I have given all my US & Canadian customers free shipping on all orders over $50 until the end of June and that has stimulated some sales, which is keeping me afloat for the moment.

It is hard to find the time to keep on top of all aspects of business AND create a website. The irony is that I was happy to just pay money to ebay until they decided to throw a wrench into the works.

Now, even if they reversed themselves, I just can't trust them anymore.

The way they rated me I felt like a criminal even though I have a very loyal customer base. My DSR's for shipping times and shipping rates are a little low thanks to Canada Post.

Of course, it did not help that they implemented this new system the month I happened to have just had a family tragedy, so my last 30 days' stats were much worse than usual.

Anyhow, that's my rant.

The beads must go on though!

I just spent 7000 to put up a new website im getting tired of ebay's (hypocritical) dictatorship . Id like to have half my sales moved within a year . Sooner the better .
