I have a buyer from Singapore who has been back and forth about where to ship.
She has 3 items. Today she paid for one and I'd like to refund her payment and combine it with the other two for shipping purposes.
Would that earn me a defect?

Yes, it would count as a defect. Instead of issuing a refund, send a combined invoice for the other things with revised shipping and let him know that they will be shipped together. Make sure the buyer wants them all shipped to the same place first.

That's the problem.
She wants them all shipped to the US but she paid for the first piece with shipping to Singapore.

She's a great buyer but communicating with her is a grind or we'd be able to work through it.
I'd take the hit but I already have too many defects for similar nonsense.
I have the option of taking a hit or shipping all together even though the addresses are different.
Can't wait to be rid of that system.
The new one with the shipping time nonsense is unfair too but at least easier to comprehend than this Twisted System.
