Sellers look at their 30 day DSR... and they see them as being low.
and then they say... I am going to change them.
And that is a big mistake.
A seller cannot change DSR.
A seller can change anything and everything they will give that seller better ratings.
Perhaps that is the important thing to learn.
Adjust each and everything you make a buyer feel like they are a million dollars.
I am now getting 20 % discounts on a regular basis.
Here is what I do
(1) describe what I sell to the fullest with a short TOS.
(2) Communicate, communicate, communicate .. There is a way to do it and then there is a way not to do it.
If you have a problem... Look at yourself... Because that is you and everything you are that is talking in that email to the buyer. If you have a temper, a mean streak,, and are very argumentative that will show up in all emails...
I have changed my view of the world. I will enjoy life to the fullest and that carries through to everything I do.. Both on and off eBay in my every day actions...
Communication is words... and it is the way you put words together that shows buyers who you are...
It has been some very simple communication and the buyer leaves feedback... Very pleasant to deal with... and not just one buyer......
(3) I ship on Monday and Thursday each week... 3 business days after buyer pays.... and I immediately tell buyer when I ship and how long it will take.
(4) I never skimp on S & H to make it look good to US buyers... Charge exact shipping cost plus a small Handling fee...
Shipping is via Canada Post... probably the most important thing to do is sell inventory that is unique and something that everyone would want.
I fixed the little things... and it appears to be working. Buyers are leaving the best of feedback, and super good ratings...
