11 with the threat of neg ... YAAAAAA tis the season... I hope Santa hits these people with his slay LOL .. kidding 😉
Like I have 1 Customer flipping kittens the other day then I politely wrote back .. I am away on weekends I will take care of everything Monday when I get to the office in the meantime please note we are only talking about 99 cents here there is no reason to be rude or get upset I am not here to steel a looney from you .
Ok maybe my message wasn't to polite but man like really if 99 cents makes you rage out maybe you should be getting another job or not spending 99 cents on movies Or go live with a bunch of miserable people in the corner of some place somewhere ...

For many years I just did not list anything from mid-November until Boxing Day. Too many nitwits who put off their shopping until Christmas Eve and couldn't understand why their book couldn't arrive faster from Canada, when they were doing the rest of their holiday shopping at the gas station.
I've softened in my old age. And in my category, few people buy for gifts (used vintage SF paperbacks).
In yours? You are a courageous young man. (rns fails completely to find .gif of the Courage medal given to the Lion by the Wizard of Oz).
Your best bet is the politer version of "Hey buddy, it's a loonie. Get over it. And shop earlier next year." Hmm. Maybe I haven't softened.
All my best to your and your family. I enjoy your comments on posts here.

Thanks and Hope you Have some wondeful Holidays Cuz I'm at work so somebody has to enjoy LOL ...
I am glad you can make sense of half my post maybe thats the best part of them a little mystery as to what I really meant to write 😉
I would probably close if this store was my income but it's not so I have a Huge tolerance for losses because every penny into my store is all play money so if I had to refund every penny it would be nothing more then a hiccup ..
I admit I probably make more mistakes then most but that is because I run my store after my 14hr work days and after I get the kids to bed so 90% of my time on here is after going for about 16-18hrs a day but I always say sorry and am 99% of the time very polite and I always Refund or Replace and never tell customer there lying or anything of the sort ...
They actually replied nice the 3rd message so I guess they realized how petty they sounded ..
FYI thanks for the spelling Correction on the whole Loonie thing my day would not be complete without my daily ebay thread correction LMAO ..
CHEERS HOHOHO

Now there's an idea. What we need is nastiness police, who will scoop up anybody with horrible manners, put them on planes and send them all to live together in one country. Then nobody need ever ship there...
They could either be left to their own devices to tear each other to shreds until there's only one person left standing, or perhaps they could be obliged to attend a special school in order to gain the privilege of returning to humanity. Let's see: "College of Politeness and Friendliness", where (among other tasks) they would have to practice writing respectful and courteous emails in every possible situation.
Christmas fantasy... I hope you had a lovely time with your family despite the 11 ridiculous INR claims.

Not a fantasy. We have credit bureau keeping track of dead-beat borrowers, and there is already enough information online on almost everyone to keep track of their behavior. People write public reviews about companies, but they might not realize, that Google and several other social sites may have enough info to keep records and merchants may at some point get access to the "behavioral score" and profile customers based on attitude, excessive returns or high risk of loss. Anyone with PayPal account or a credit card will have a score.
Brande you need to decide if overall keeping the shop open in December is worth it or not. I am curious if it would be possible to get those $700 back from CanadaPost in Small Claims. In this computing age when every atom on the planet is going to have it's own IP address very soon, there should be a barcode and delivery confirmation on every mailpiece including postcards. Especially for the prices they are planning to charge.
Happy Holidays to everyone
