blocking ebay users?

Good question!  I've never been blocked as a buyer, so I can't tell you, and as a seller I've always wondered what buyers see.  We can only hope it's something "diplomatic"...

Some buyers are confused  and do ask why they are blocked.

and then they forget what  had happened with a specific seller.

My answer. to a question by a blocked buyer... .. Must be an eBay glitch... they do happen

A blocked buyer  is not allowed to buy with a second ID... thereby circumventing a block.....A revenge purchase in order to get back at a seller that blocked a specific ID. is unacceptable

I know about this first hand from a post of mine (using my buying ID) that went down hill.  A paranoid poster blocked me.

Might not be allowed, but it is quite possible.  I could, if I so desired, purchase from said paranoid seller using any of my other handles.  I just tried it and a "Commit to Buy" page came up.
