buying something and there is not enough balance in paypal

I am new to this and not sure how it works.

if i buy something and there is not enough balance in paypal, will it come off my credit card that i have linked to paypal

Hi , yes..you do not need funds in your balance. PP defaults balance , then bank account. To fund with credit card if account has a bank added , choose more funding options.

Once you select a credit card with the more funding options link, your payment will come first from your PayPal balance and the remaining portion will come from your credit card.
