The biggest problem is the definition of .... free shipping.
eBay promotes free shipping.....
But.....eBay has never defined free shipping.
Now with the shipping supplies...... there is a problem.
Shipping supplies to Canadian sellers includes the cost of shipping... which is not free shipping.
eBay calls it free shipping.....
eBay must correct the problem..... or it is in a very big legal bind.... Free shipping has been defined by eBay..... and shipping is not free ... It is shipping included for supplies sold to Canadian sellers
There is a legal problem, not only with these shipping supplies for Canadian sellers, but with any other mention of free shipping on eBay's website

If I were a lawyer in such a case, I would be bringing up "adspeak" .
Like BOGO sales or NoSales Tax sales.
In Buy One Get One (free), the second item is not free and the actual sale is a 25% reduction on the price of each (or 50% of the price of the two), The percentage can be even less if the second item is of lower value than the first.
In No Sales Tax sales, the sales tax is included in the (reduced) price of the item. You can do the arithmetic, I'm dysnumeric and it's beyond me.
My argument would be semantics. The Free Shipping is actually "free of ADDED shipping charges".
The difference being between free as in 'gratis' and free as in 'libre'.
I've had that argument with people who say 'the internet should be free!' and blatantly steal intellectual property from the web on that basis.
Sometimes the fussy precision of French is very useful.

The coupon is totally worthless to me, so should i get a break somewhere else..How about if you use the coupon you pay the higher store rate, if you don't use it your rate stays the same.. for the few canadian jobs that are still left with ebay.ca, keep kissing them good-bye, you are doing nothing but pushing, and i say PUSHING Canadian sellers away from ebay.ca.,, keep it up..

Instead of worthless promotion gimmicks if Ebay wanted to do something for Canadians they would bring back the Canadian ebucks program!

This a thread about eBay.ca Sellers not eBay buyers.
Although it is a thought, revive the ebucks program just for eBay.ca sellers who have Stores. Those with stores get ebucks to spend. Then it does become a valuable bonus, with no complaints about overpriced eBay branded supplies.
