hello, I'm new to E bay and am having some problems,trying to find out how to go to the auctions section,any pointers?

Hi lennig.. Ebay has oodles of search options but lets keep it to your Q. I'm going to assume you need a new mousetrap lol.

So, in search above .. mousetrap and voilà , almost 1000 items. Now on left side of page is a breakdowm where sellers chose category. Now you can browse all but more likely to find that trap in home and garden rather than toys or books.

Ok 200 mousetraps in H&G .. you want auctions rather than Buy it Now. Continue scrolling down left side select auction under buying formats. Can also choose location.. Canada , North America or Worldwide. Hope this helps.
