Hello everyeone, I've been away from eBay for quite sometime and only recently have I returned to find significant changes to the website engine. I used to be able to choose which currency I wanted to list my item in - U.S or CDN - but now I don't see the option to list in USD anymore. Am I doing something wrong? Have I not clicked a certain option somewhere? Just very confusing to me.
I would like my items to be seen by American buyers in addition to Canadian ones. So if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
Thankyou

As long as you have a shipping cost for the U.S. in the shipping area, Americans will see your listing even if it is in Canadian dollars.
You can still list in U.S. dollars on .ca up until June 13th. After that you can only list in Canadian dollars on .ca or list in U.S. dollars on .com.
If you do want to list in U.S. dollars for now, you have to use the advanced sell your item listing form. To change from the quick listing tool to the advanced form, click on the link on the top right of the listing page.
Here are some announcements and info on the change to Canadian dollars only.

There have been many changes on eBay in the last couple of years. You should spend some time reading the seller board here to get an idea of some of those changes. You should also check out the eBay Money Back Guarantee program so that you know how that works from a buyer and sellers point of view. The following link will give you some information about seller standards.

eBay Canada remains the most useful site for sellers who require flexible shipping services, since only eBayCanada offers Canada Post shipping.
And as noted, if you offer to ship to another country, your listing will show on that country's eBay site, in the local currency.
Listing on dotCOM is a reasonable choice if you can ship within Canada at a single rate (which basically means Letter Rate-- under 500 gr/2cm).
Many believe listing on that site gives a stronger worldwide presence.
