...just wondering how this is done...I found a stain on an item of clothing, informed the buyer and the buyer obviously doesn't want it anymore...unfortunately it's a high ticket item and the eBay fees alone for that one item are about $10 which I would like back...any way of doing that...or should I just cancel + refund the whole thing and start over???? The buyer is very easy going so I don't think that would be a problem...

You should be able to find it under Paid and issue a Cancel Transaction Request to the Buyer. From the drop-down menu on that item, no?

The five items were listed and sold separately? Or did you make a special listing of five items for your customer?
If the former, no biggie, just cancel the order as usual, citing Buyer Request.
That's pushing it a little, since the real problem is Not As Described, but since you asked the customer and she doesn't want it, it's marginally correct.
For the latter, I have no idea.
