how do I change the shipping on the invoice to combined shipping

A customer bought 6 items and the individual shipping would have been 52.00, but the combined shipping is 17.50.  How can I change the invoice

Just  type in the correct amount but (here's the trick)

DO NOT HIT RECALCULATE!
