Hello 'jackroadhouse',
As someone around here aptly stated recently, the 'tracking' aspect of GSP items is yet another of those empty promises that came to nothing.
An item that has been sent to Kentucky will certainly arrive to you eventually, - and the parcel will have a number on it. It's just that these folks seem to think it is not worth the effort to pass this information along.
So it is unlikely they will have the courtesy to post the number to you. This is not the seller's responsibility because all that the seller is required to do is mail the item to Kentucky. After that, the parcel gets opened, assessed, and repackaged before being forwarded on to you. The seller will have no idea what happens at that point.
So if you need the number to arrange for someone to be home to receive it, or because you don't want a parcel sitting on your doorstep all week when you are out of town, you will need to call Pitney-Bowes with the transaction numbers and details, and they can tell you what the number is and what delivery service is being used (Canada Post, CanPar, or some other courier).
Not a great system, but that's how it is.
